Bedding FAQ
-
Where is your bedding made?
Every step of our bedding’s journey, from cotton seed to final stitch, is performed in the United States, primarily in South Carolina. We partner with American farms, mills, printers, and sewers to create each piece with integrity and intention, ensuring it’s both homegrown and thoughtfully made with a minimal environmental footprint.
-
Is your bedding sustainably made?
Yes. Sustainability is woven into every decision we make, from responsibly grown cotton and reduced transportation impact to eco-conscious packaging. Every partner we work with upholds earth-kind practices that minimize waste and prioritize longevity.
-
What materials do you use?
We use premium, long-staple U.S.-grown cotton known for its strength, breathability, and softness. Each fiber is carefully processed, from ginning to weaving, to preserve its natural quality and create fabric that’s gentle on both your skin and the planet.
-
What is the thread count & what does it mean?
Many people associate higher thread counts with better quality, but that’s actually a misconception. Thread count simply measures how many threads are woven into one square inch of fabric. It doesn’t reflect the quality of the cotton, the type of weave, or how the fabric feels and performs over time.
Our 180 thread count bedding is crafted from 100% American-grown long-staple cotton, which means the fibers themselves are naturally stronger, smoother, and more breathable than shorter fibers often used to inflate thread counts. Some manufacturers twist multiple lower-quality threads together to artificially raise the number, but this can make fabric heavy, less breathable, and prone to pilling.
By using premium long-staple cotton and a balanced weave, we achieve the ideal combination of softness, durability, and airflow, creating bedding that feels light, crisp, and comfortable night after night. In short, true luxury comes from fiber quality and craftsmanship, not inflated numbers.
-
How does your production process work?
Our process follows a thoughtful path that is gentle on the Earth and grounded in American craftsmanship and where every step in the manufacturing process is guided by integrity and intention.
-
Farmed: Cotton is grown and harvested in the U.S. using sustainable methods. 65% of the cotton is irrigated naturally from rain only.
-
Ginned, Spun & Woven: Fibers are cleaned, spun into yarns, and woven into high-quality fabric that balances softness and durability.
-
Printed & Sewn: The fabric is printed with Jordan’s original artwork and sewn in American facilities by skilled craftspeople.
From start to finish, it honors American craftsmanship and cares for Mother Earth. This is bedding you can feel good about and proud to make part of your home.
-
How should I care for my bedding?
We recommend machine washing on a gentle cycle with mild, eco-friendly detergent. Tumble dry on low or line dry to preserve softness and color. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals to protect both the fibers and the artwork.
-
How does my purchase give back?
Every purchase supports the Waterkeeper Alliance both globally and locally though the South Carolina chapter. This is an organization dedicated to protecting and restoring clean water worldwide and within our own community. Through this partnership, your bedding helps fund efforts to safeguard rivers, lakes, and coastal waterways, ensuring that the environments inspiring our designs remain healthy, thriving, and full of life for generations to come.
