Job Application: Content Creator / Social Media Manager
The Role
Location: South Carolina
Work Model: Hybrid (remote with regular in-person time in Mount Pleasant)
Time Commitment: ~10 hours per week, with flexibility during launches and peak season
Rate: $20-22 per/hr
We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented Content Creator / Social Media Manager to help grow the Jordan Connelly brand through thoughtful, visually driven content. This role is ideal for someone who confidently turns ideas into action, is on top of social media trends, enjoys content creation, and can self-manage projects with ease.
This is a hybrid role with regular in-person time in Mount Pleasant. Being physically present is important for capturing content, collaborating in real time, and supporting launches. You’ll work closely with Jordan and our marketing lead to create thoughtful, on-brand content and help bring the brand’s story to life across social and email.
This role offers meaningful opportunity for hands-on marketing experience across platforms and exposure to the behind-the-scenes of a fast-growing creative business.
Responsibilities

Create and manage content for Instagram (Reels, carousels, static posts, Stories) with strategic guidance from our Marketing Lead

Plan, schedule, and post content aligned with monthly themes and content pillars

Capture and edit short-form photo and video content

Support additional platforms as needed, including Pinterest and email

Support social media community engagement

Track and review performance metrics to understand what’s working and why

Stay current on trends, audio, formats, and platform best practices

Support email marketing by learning Flodesk and assisting with monthly newsletters and launch emails

Maintain visual consistency across social and email content

Assist during launches with packaging and shipping while capturing behind-the-scenes content

Who You Are

Based in South Carolina and able to work in person in Mount Pleasant as needed

Efficient, proactive, and able to manage time and tasks independently in a remote environment

Confident in communicating and collaborating with in-person and remote colleagues

Detail-oriented with a high standard for quality and consistency

Curious about performance and eager to learn, test, and iterate

Creative, trend-aware, collaborative, and excited to contribute to brand growth

Interest in art, interiors, marketing, or entrepreneurship is a plus

Experience with Flodesk, Pinterest, ShopMy and/or LTK Affiliates is a plus
Interview Process
Selected candidates will have an initial conversation with the Jordan Connelly marketing lead and will then be asked to complete a brief social media exercise. This exercise is designed to assess creative thinking, trend awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to translate brand direction into compelling social content. From there, you'll have a final step interview with Jordan Connelly.
